Terms of Service

1.Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Sweet-Connections and govern your use of the multifamily job board, vendor directory, and marketing platform at sweet-connections.com (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, or by creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2.Who May Use the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Platform. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3.Your Account

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it current, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4.Roles: Job Seekers, Employers, and Vendors

The Platform serves three audiences, each with additional responsibilities:

• Job seekers are responsible for the accuracy of profiles, resumes, and application materials they submit.
• Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their job postings, for complying with all applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws, and for how they handle applicant information they receive.
• Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their directory listings and for the services they represent and provide.

Sweet-Connections is a platform that connects these parties. We are not an employer, employment agency, or party to any hiring, engagement, or transaction between users, and we do not guarantee any outcome such as employment, applicants, or business.

5.User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit — including profiles, job postings, resumes, listings, and messages ("User Content"). You grant Sweet-Connections a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your User Content as needed to operate and promote the Platform. You represent that you have the rights to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

6.Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, discriminatory, or unlawful content, including job postings that are not genuine opportunities.
• Harvest, scrape, or collect information about other users, or contact them for purposes unrelated to legitimate Platform use.
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems.
• Use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited marketing, or to impersonate any person or organization.
• Infringe intellectual property rights or violate any applicable law or regulation.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7.Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Sweet-Connections or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your own User Content, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform without our permission.

8.Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9.Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any listing, applicant, or opportunity will meet your expectations.

10.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweet-Connections will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.

11.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sweet-Connections and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your User Content, your use of the Platform, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

12.Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Platform. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

13.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
